Welcome to the CONFINTEA Portal
Areas of Action
IDEAL’s three main project partners, the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), and StudyPortals (SP), met on 8 to 10 September in Oslo, Norway, to assess progress and discuss future activities.
In September 2014, four education professionals from Asia and Africa spent four weeks conducting research at the UIL Library, as part of the UIL CONFINTEA Scholarship programme.
UIL is pleased to announce the recipients of the CONFINTEA Scholarships for 2014. The scholarships are funded by the private donations of the Nomura Center for Lifelong Integrated Education in Japan, the British educationist Peter Jarvis and the publisher Taylor & Francis.
