Possibilities to organize a regional CONFINTEA VI follow-up meeting for the Arab States have been discussed with UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States in Beirut, and have informally and preliminarily been raised with a potential host country. However, related plans have not yet been substantiated. They are being pursued with the intention of organizing a regional meeting either in 2013 or in 2014.
