The first series of virtual workshops on the validation of literacy and numeracy test items will be held on December 9-11, 2020 and December 15-16, 2020. This will include validation of vocabulary and spelling test items.
In accordance with the 2020 calendar of activities of the (Action Research: Measuring Literacy Programme Participants’ Learning Outcomes) - Phase II (RAMAA), a series of virtual workshops for the validation of test items and the context questionnaire will be organized with the twelve participating countries - Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Senegal and Togo.
The objectives of these workshops will be to:
- Share and analyze country experiences in the pre-selection of instruments (items and context questionnaire);
- validate these items;
- update the 2021 calendar of activities, particularly in view of the global health crisis.
The organization of these workshops emphasizes collaboration between countries, the sharing of experiences and the strengthening of national capacities.
