Africa network on the Recognition, Validation and Accreditation of Non-formal and Informal Learning

UNESCO Institute for Lifelonglearning pays special attention to recognition, validation and accreditation of learning in the African context and provides support to African countries in developing their qualifications and recognition systems. In June 2007, African countries met in Sèvres, France for the international seminar Recognition of Experiential Learning: Prospects for Development in African Countries. UIL has contributed on the subject of recognition, validation and accreditation of non-formal and informal learning.
